Cufra Cottage
Cufra Cliffs "Cottage" is a private self-contained guest wing that shares a deck garden with the main house while also having its own private balcony. The cottage is open-plan, with the living area, dining area, and kitchenette forming the main room. The floor and trim were made with wood cut from the property.

Living Room
The living room has a woodstove as well as electric heat from a mini-split, which also provides air conditioning in summer. If needed, the couch is a double-sized hide-a-bed. The couch bed has a thin mattress suitable for children; if adults are to use it, a supplemental foam slab is needed.
Dining Area & Kitchenette
The dining area is set in a nest of windows looking west from the north end of Thetis Island toward the hills and mountains of Vancouver Island. The sunsets are magnificent.
The kitchenette includes under-counter fridge, hot plate, barbecue on the deck, microwave and toaster ovens, electric kettle, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes and cutlery; everything except a kitchen stove.
The bedroom has a comfortable queen-sized bed and cooling breezes from the north in summer.
The bathroom has a shower and is cool, clean, and private.
Private Hot Tub
Relax in the private outdoor hot tub while enjoying panoramic views of Trincomali Channel, passing boats, and spectacular coastal sunsets. The hot tub is available year-round and is a favourite feature for guests seeking a peaceful island retreat.
Swimming Pool
The Gulf Islands have a Mediterranean-type climate, and summers can be hot and dry. The above-ground swimming pool offers a place to relax on hot days when the tide is not convenient for swimming in the sea.
The pool also provides a reservoir of water during fire season. The house and decks have an outdoor sprinkler system linked to the pool so the complex can be kept damp and cool if fire is nearby.
Deck Garden
British Columbia is well known as a gardener's paradise. The deck garden provides colour through the growing season and attracts hummingbirds, butterflies, and other wildlife.
